Lance Kammes Realty in Wheaton, Illinois was looking for a realtor logo design that communicated a “strong brand image”. They wanted something memorable, simple, and instantly recognizable. They also requested we use a one-color black ink design that would match current marketing materials. Our design team went to work with those instructions and sketched two concepts, one of which you see here as the final.

After choosing a unique font that had some meat to it, we started putting the pieces together. We modified the font to work more cohesively with the roof and extended the L for a chimney. The use of negative space is of the utmost importance for a one color logo design. Proper spacing allows the letters and roof to work together instead of crowded together. The client instantly approved and is in the process of designing a thirty-page presentation folder with us now.
